Looking Ahead in Real Estate

Think Real Estate is Dead? Not Even Close!

People thought the same thing about the cruise industry a month ago but that’s not the case. Cruise companies were able to pivot their situation and were able to convert 75% of their cancelation fees into bookings for next year.

Real Estate is doing the same thing by shifting gears and adapting to create a market that you don’t want to miss out on. The opportunities are coming, and it is time to get ready.

If you were planning to buy or sell a home this year, here are some things you could be doing to prepare for what could be coming in the next few months.

If you plan to list your home when the waters calm, prepare for the surge of interest that is coming! After this pause in the market, buyers are going to be even MORE eager to find a property in time for the next school year. Now could be the opportune moment to introduce your home to prospective buyers who may want to make a move before everyone else. Please make no mistake about it, when the dust settles from this event, Metrowest and its surrounding towns will continue to be one of the most desirable areas in Massachusetts.

If you plan to purchase a home when the waters calm, prepare for the surge of demand that is coming! With interest rates at historic lows, it could be the most affordable time to purchase your next home. Those that have been sitting on their down payment might want to take advantage of the current situation. I might suggest you to begin looking at available homes on the market before everyone else gets back into the game.

What we are doing:

Given the current situation, we are seeing supply and demand for homes staying neck and neck while slowly falling together. When life begins to return to normal, we anticipate demand will continue to be high for our desirable area. Buyers will be dealing with multiple offer situations while sellers will see their homes go for over list price. Right now is no time to sit idle, and Hayden Rowe Properties is as proactive and flexible as we can be to provide the best experience for our clients. Here are some of the things we are doing:

For our current clients:

  • Property walkthroughs via Zoom or Facetime
  • Expanded marketing of listed properties
  • Collaboration with other agents in the area to match buyers and sellers

For our future clients:

  • Virtual Appointments
  • Market Analysis
  • Pre-Listing Recommendations
  • Marketing Strategy
  • Successful Transaction Planning

We are here to help and answer any questions we can for you regarding the current market, so please do not hesitate to reach out to our broker for any assistance you need.
